My Story

Rugby has been a huge part of my life and I've been incredibly lucky to experience so many fantasitc opportunities as both a player, coach and supporter of the game.

The benefitts of rugby; physcial social and mental are significant, and in my opinion, far outweigh the injuriy risks that are associated with the game. There are occasions when players suffer serious injuries and the support which the RFU Injured Players Foundation provides is not just critical but also a sign of the life-long bonds and togetherness that exists within the rugby community.

Having enjoyed running as my only method of exercise during the lockdown, I was keen to enter a race for the first time. Having never raced before, or attempted a half marathon, it seemed the perfect opportunity to raise money for an incredibly important rugby charity.
